Biography

Bruno Silvestre is the Dean of the I.H. Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, where he holds the CPA Manitoba Chair in Business Leadership. He has served as Associate Dean and has directed multiple portfolios including the Director of the Transport Institute, as well as acting Department Head. Silvestre's research has been published in leading business journals and is widely cited, with a significant presence on editorial boards. He has extensive teaching experience across various academic levels, including undergraduate, MBA, EMBA, MSc, and Ph.D. programs in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to his academic career, he amassed nearly 15 years of industry experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain management, and project management across sectors such as energy, mining, and technology.
