Biography

Bryan X. DeSouza, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Yale School of Medicine. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system. Dr. DeSouza is known for his expertise in managing neurological symptoms including headaches, seizures, movement disorders, and neuropathy. He focuses on creating tailored care plans to improve patients' quality of life. Dr. DeSouza earned his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and has completed extensive training in neurology, neurosurgery, and neuroimaging at leading institutions such as Georgetown University Medical Center and the National Institutes of Health. He is actively involved in academic and community initiatives, including a committee aimed at enhancing skills among general practitioners and specialists in managing cardiovascular kidney metabolic health.
