Biography

Burak Güneralp is an Associate Professor at Texas A&M University where he is a member of the Department of Geography. With a Ph.D. in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2006, Güneralp's research primarily focuses on urbanization, global change, and sustainability. He is also actively involved in studying human-environment interactions, systems analysis of socio-ecological problems, and geospatial analysis of land change.
