Biography

Burak Ozdoganlar studies neural probe development evaluation situ endogenous sensor development. He has co-authored more than 55 archival journal articles and over 75 conference articles. He currently serves as an associate technical editor for the ASME Journal of Manufacturing Science and Engineering. Previously, he was an associate editor for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Journal of Manufacturing Processes. In 2008, he became a member of the Scientific Committee of the North American Manufacturing Research Institution. Ozdoganlar’s Multiscale Manufacturing Dynamics Laboratory focuses on manufacturing science engineering with an emphasis on micro- and nano-manufacturing techniques. The overarching objective of his research is to realize scientific and technological advances in predictable manufacturing of multiscale three-dimensional devices and parts with specific features. His work synergistically combines theoretical, numerical, and experimental analyses to gain a fundamental understanding of multiscale manufacturing processes, with applications in medical, biomedical, energy, robotics, and aerospace fields.
