Biography

Burçin Becerik-Gerber is the Dean's Professor at the Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at USC. With over 15 years of research, she focuses on advanced data acquisition, modeling, and visualization in the context of user-centered responsive adaptive built environments. She pioneered the field of Human-Building Interaction (HBI), which explores the dynamic interplay between human experiences and intelligent built environments.
