Biography

Professor Byron Byrne holds the Ørsted/Royal Academy Engineering Research Chair in Advanced Geotechnical Design at Oxford University. He is a civil engineering fellow at St Catherine's College and has conducted extensive research in offshore geotechnical engineering, focusing on soil-structure interaction problems. His experience includes leading major research projects funded by industry collaborations, including the EPSRC Supergen Offshore Renewable Energy Hub.
