Dr. Byungdoo Kim

Biography

Byungdoo Kim is a Research Associate at King's Business School, specializing in environmental psychology communication. His research focuses on how consumers understand sustainability and how this understanding influences their daily choices and behavior. Byungdoo's work has been published in notable journals such as the Journal of Environmental Psychology and PLOS. He has a strong background in designing and executing lab and online experiments, conducting survey studies, and analyzing large datasets. Additionally, he has taught undergraduate-level courses, including Research Methods and Visual Communication. His experience includes a research fellowship with the Citizen, Environment, Safety research group at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, where he examined the effectiveness of a mobile app aimed at fostering sustainable lifestyles. Byungdoo holds a BA in British American Culture from Sogang University, an MS in Environmental Management from Seoul National University, and a PhD in Environmental Communication from Cornell University.
