Biography

Caitlin Gilchrist, WHNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in gynecologic and reproductive health care. She serves as a Teaching Associate in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Washington Medical Center - Roosevelt. Caitlin is committed to providing compassionate, patient-driven health care, ensuring that her patients feel heard and have the information they need to make informed health decisions. Her clinical expertise includes the management of conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), painful periods, and birth control education, as well as the evaluation of vaginitis and urinary tract infections (UTIs) among routine gynecologic health concerns. Caitlin also performs common gynecologic procedures, including IUD and Nexplanon placements and removals, colposcopy, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, and Bartholin gland drainage. In her personal time, she enjoys crafting and trying new hobbies such as soap-making and candle-making. Caitlin shares her home with her dog, Everett, and her cat, Thor, who both bring her joy.
