Biography

Dr. Caitlin McAuley is a Board Certified Family Practice physician with a specialization in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She graduated from Touro University of California College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013 and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Chino Valley Medical Center in 2017. Dr. McAuley began her career as a Research Assistant at the UC San Diego HIV NeuroAIDS Research Program, which provided her with crucial research experience prior to her clinical training. Since joining the Keck School of Medicine in 2019, she has served as a clinical faculty preceptor for the Family Medicine Clerkship. Dr. McAuley's research interests include Family Medicine, Long COVID (Post Acute Sequelae of COVID-19), Mental Health, Sleep, PrEP, and Gender Affirming care. Currently, she leads the Keck COVID Recovery Clinic, established in December 2020, which focuses on symptom management and functional improvement for individuals experiencing Long COVID.
