Biography

Caleb Goods focuses his research on the major dimensions of future work, particularly the creation of green jobs and the implications of the 'gig' economy for workers, organizations, and public policy. He obtained his PhD from Curtin University in 2013, where his research examined how the political and economic landscape in Australia affects workplace responses to green initiatives, especially in the automotive manufacturing sector. His findings are based on qualitative interviews with key political and union leaders in Australia. In addition to his dissertation, which is published in the book 'Greening Auto Jobs: Critical Analysis Green Job Solution', he has completed a Post-Doctorate at York University, Canada, and is involved in multiple research projects, including a SSHRC-funded initiative about workplaces adapting to climate change.
