Biography

Cameron Holloway is a Consultant Cardiologist and Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales and the University of Notre Dame. He is also the Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at St Vincent's Hospital and holds a Clinical Faculty position at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. Dr. Holloway returned to Sydney in 2013 after working for six years as a Consultant Cardiologist at the University of Oxford NHS Trust. His medical training includes an MBBS with honors from Australia, an MRCP from London, and a D.Phil from the University of Oxford. His research mainly focuses on cardiac imaging and cardiac MRI, where he has published widely on mechanisms of cardiac disease. Currently, his research interests include understanding and managing HIV-related heart disease.
