Biography

Cameron McCordic is an Associate Professor and the MDP Academic Director at the University of Waterloo, where he also manages international work placements. His research interests focus on urban sustainable development systems that generate compounding vulnerability in sustainable progress within cities. In pursuit of these interests, he has collaborated with researchers, policymakers, private industry leaders, and local communities to investigate sustainable urban development practices across North America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia. He is currently involved with the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Canada, where he is developing an index for measuring Sustainable Development Goal achievement in Canadian cities.
