Dr. Camille Cuoghi Edens

Biography

Camille Cuoghi Edens, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Chicago. She specializes in Pediatric Rheumatology, addressing complex issues related to rheumatic diseases in children and their transition to adult care. Dr. Edens has expertise in treating conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus, mixed connective tissue disease, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, vasculitis, and dermatomyositis. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she serves as the pediatric rheumatology fellowship director, actively participating in the education of medical students and residents. Her research interests focus on reproductive health topics, especially those affecting teenagers and young adults with rheumatic diseases, as well as the safety of medications during pregnancy.
