Dr. Camilo Garcia Trillos

Biography

Camilo Garcia Trillos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at University College London (UCL) and serves as Vice Dean for Advancement in the Faculty of Mathematical & Physical Sciences. His research focuses on probabilistic numerical methods, stochastic analysis, machine learning, and mathematical finance, particularly in the area of robust optimization techniques to enhance resilience in uncertainty. He has developed algorithms for the numerical resolution of stochastic differential equations and control problems, facilitating efficient computation in high-dimensional settings. Prior to joining UCL, he worked on quantitative risk modeling at FNG, where he effectively bridged theory and practice in financial mathematics.
