Dr. Cansu Ekmekcioglu

Biography

Cansu Ekmekcioglu is an Assistant Professor in Information Systems at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. Her research interests focus on human-computer interaction (HCI), data studies, and technology policy. Ekmekcioglu adopts an interdisciplinary approach that is grounded in the principles of sustainability and equity. Her work contributes to the study and design of data management and the integration of digital technologies in various contexts. With a strong academic background, she holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, a Master's degree from Galatasaray University, and a Bachelor's degree from Bogazici University.
