Carina Teixeira is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychological Medicine at King's College London, and serves as the Programme Leader for the MSc in Organisational Psychiatry and Psychology. In 2019, she joined King’s College London as a Teaching Fellow in the Distance Learning MSc programme in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Mental Health, eventually becoming a Senior Teaching Fellow in 2021. Appointed as a Lecturer in 2022 and Programme Leader in 2023, she continues to make significant contributions to education and research. Teixeira is a trained clinical psychologist with a specialization in cognitive-behavioral therapy and is passionate about mental health advocacy and charity work in both Portugal and the UK. Additionally, she is a music artist known as Carina T, using her platform to raise awareness about mental health issues.
