Biography

Carl E. James holds the Jean Augustine Chair in Education, Community & Diaspora at York University, where he also serves as the Equity Advisor to the Dean. With a PhD in Sociology from York University, he has been instrumental in shaping policies and research focused on equity and social justice in education.
