Biography

Carl Hsin-han Shen received his Ph.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in the USA. He was previously a member of the Department of Finance at National Central University in Taiwan before joining Macquarie University. His research interests focus on corporate governance, financial accounting, and corporate innovation. He has published in numerous leading academic journals, including the Strategic Management Journal, Review of Finance, Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, and Journal of Financial Markets. In addition to his research contributions, he serves as an associate editor for the Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies and the Journal of Risk Management & Insurance. He is also an editorial board member of the NTU Management Review and an associate member of the Centre for Contemporary Australasian Business Economics Studies at the University of Wollongong.
