Dr. Carl Voigt

Biography

Carl W. Voigt is the Academic Director at the USC Marshall School of Business, where he also serves as a Professor of Clinical Management. He specializes in teaching business policy, competitive strategy, entrepreneurship, global strategy, and international management. Over his career, Voigt has received the Golden Apple Award three times, recognizing his excellence in teaching. He has additionally held the position of Associate Dean for undergraduate and executive MBA programs at Marshall. Voigt’s research interests are deeply rooted in the complexities of international business and strategy, focusing on how firms navigate competitive environments and make strategic decisions. Throughout his career, he has provided invaluable insights into the challenges faced by businesses in the global market, leveraging his extensive experience to teach students the nuances of business strategy in a global context.
