Biography

Carl-Mikael Zetterling is a Professor in the Division of Electronics Embedded Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His research focuses on process technology, device design, high temperature and high power devices, and wide bandgap materials, specifically Silicon Carbide (SiC). Over his career, he has contributed to more than 300 publications and has an h-index of 27. Zetterling has edited and written significant works in his field, including a book on Process Technology for Silicon Carbide Devices and has also co-authored literature aimed at guiding students away from plagiarism. He received his M.Sc.E.E. and Ph.D. degrees from KTH in 1991 and 1997, respectively. Additionally, he has held various administrative positions, such as the Vice Dean of the School of ICT from 2013 to 2017. His teaching responsibilities include courses in Electrical Engineering and Engineering Physics, with a specialization in Nanotechnology. Zetterling has also served as an Invited Scholar at Stanford University and as an Invited Professor at Kyoto University.
