Carla Harmath is a Professor at the University of Chicago in the Department of Radiology specializing in Abdominal Imaging. In August 2017, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Chicago, focusing on abdominal imaging. Her clinical research interests include oncologic imaging, CT and MRI imaging of the digestive system, and transplant imaging. Dr. Harmath is also dedicated to educational improvement, mentoring, and facilitating learning processes. She has received various honors including the Marc Ronald Tetalman Memorial Award for Outstanding Teaching (2018) and the Senior Class Teaching Award (2019).
