Biography

Carla Ingrando serves on the Alumni Affairs Development team at Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, charged with strengthening alumni relations and maximizing philanthropy for the college. Ingrando is excited to have taught the philanthropic leadership course in collaboration with the Philanthropy Lab in the fall of 2023. At Cornell, she previously served as the executive director for university corporate foundation relations and as interim assistant dean for alumni affairs development at Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science. Prior to joining Cornell, Ingrando served as the senior director for foundation relations at the University of Notre Dame. Beginning her career in university development, she was also a faculty member at Denison University and Marylhurst University, and worked as a program officer at the Michigan Humanities Council. Ingrando holds a PhD in religious ethics from Notre Dame, an MDiv from Vanderbilt University, an MPA from the University of South Carolina, and a BA from Furman University. In addition to her work, Ingrando enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling to warm destinations, particularly in February.
