Carlo L. Bottasso holds the Chair of Wind Energy at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and is the founding director of the Wind Energy Institute. He has published over 500 papers, including 150 journal articles, and has delivered 30 plenary keynote addresses at international conferences. In 2023, he received the EAWE Scientific Award for his outstanding contributions to the modeling, simulation, aero-servo-elasticity, and control design of wind turbine technologies.
