Biography

Carlo Nozza graduated in Architecture from the Milan Polytechnic and has extensive experience in study and research abroad. From 1998 to 2004, he worked in the office of Souto de Moura in Porto, where he was responsible for the architectural design and construction of the Braga Stadium. From 2005 to 2012, he taught architectural design at Politecnico di Milano. In 2014, he obtained an Advanced Master’s Degree in Sustainable Buildings, focusing on an experimental thesis on the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in projects that protect heritage. In 2019, he completed his PhD dissertation on 20th Century Flexible-Evolutionary Housing, emphasizing project construction and heritage preservation innovation. His professional experience includes being the principal of an architectural firm involved in significant exhibitions such as the Shanghai Biennale and projects like Laboratorio Italia and Citylife Milano.
