Dr. Carlos Davila

Biography

Carlos D. Davila is a dual board-certified Interventional Cardiologist and Advanced Heart Failure specialist. His clinical expertise focuses on performing coronary interventions, invasive hemodynamics, and mechanical circulatory support in patients with advanced heart failure. He is well-trained in structural heart interventions including PFO/ASD closure and alcohol septal ablations, as well as transcatheter techniques for aortic and mitral valve replacements and left atrial appendage closure. Dr. Davila completed his training in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and has further training in advanced structural heart interventions at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He received his medical degree from the Central University of Venezuela with honors and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Einstein Medical Center, where he was selected to serve as Chief Medical Resident. His research contributions include multiple publications on topics such as cardiogenic shock and mechanical circulatory support. He is dedicated to providing evidence-based, compassionate, multidisciplinary care to his patients.
