Biography

Carlos Domingo-Felez is a lecturer at the James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow, with a focus on water environment and infrastructure. He obtained his PhD in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 2017, where he also served as a postdoctoral researcher until 2022. His academic journey began with a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Zaragoza in 2012. Carlos has extensive experience working in various capacities at the Technical University of Denmark, including as a research assistant and a seasonal technical support intern. His research interests lie in biological processes for water treatment systems, quantifying greenhouse gas emissions, bioreactor design and operation, as well as process optimization and data analysis. He is skilled in model identification, parameter estimation, and model calibration procedures. Throughout his career, he has been involved in teaching and supervising students in courses related to hydraulics, hydrology, and water environment design. Carlos is dedicated to advancing knowledge in the field of environmental engineering and applying innovative solutions to address water management challenges.
