Biography

Carly Ranson earned an Associate in Science in Biology from Porterville College, a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from California State University, Fresno, and a Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Science during her two-year fellowship in Pharmaceutical Chemical Sciences from the University of the Pacific. As a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and a member of the American Public Health Association, she is driven by her personal experiences and knowledge gained from her previous roles. Her professional journey into pharmacy was influenced by her desire to understand and explain how medications for Parkinson's disease affect patients’ functioning, inspiring her commitment to healthcare. Ranson is actively involved in educational and outreach initiatives aimed at helping students discover their passion for the pharmacy profession. In addition to her commitment to education, she participates in various health outreach clinics under the Medicare Part D program and volunteers with the Honor Flight Network to support veterans. Her interests extend to gardening, classic car restoration, and rehabilitating animals.
