Biography

Carmela Vircillo Franklin is a Professor in the Department of Classics at Columbia University, where she has been a faculty member since 1993. She is currently involved in a book project tentatively titled 'The Liber pontificalis Pandulphus Romanus: Schismatic Document Renaissance Exemplar', which explores a papal chronicle created during the schism of 1130.
