Dr. Carmen Édith Belleï Rodriguez

Biography

Carmen-Édith Belleï-Rodriguez is an Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal in the Faculty of Nursing. She holds a Doctorate in Health Sciences Research and has completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Her educational background includes a Master's degree in psychoeducation focused on clinical practice and research, and a Bachelor's degree that spans psychoeducation and psychology, both from the School of Psychoeducation at the University of Montreal. Carmen's research interests primarily lie in pain management, public health, and child and adolescent health. She is engaged in leading projects that investigate psychological distress in various populations. Her ongoing work includes exploring aspects of dysmenorrhea and premenstrual syndrome and their impact across different age groups. As part of her commitment to education, she actively recruits master's and doctoral candidates for research projects and engages in teaching and supervision within her department.
