Biography

Carmen M. Lee is a Clinical Professor at the USC Annenberg School for Communication, where she also serves as the Assistant Dean for Teaching Excellence. Her research and teaching focus on interethnic and intercultural relationships, interpersonal family violence, and diversity inclusion within the media industry. Lee has authored and co-authored works that delve into topics such as Black masculinity and interpersonal family relationships. She teaches courses that include quantitative research methods, media effects, interpersonal and intercultural communication, global organizational communication, and communication theory. Lee has previously held the position of Center Excellence Teaching Faculty Fellow from 2018 to 2020 and continues to provide assessment advising at the USC Annenberg School of Communication.
