Biography

Carmen Loiselle holds a Ph.D. with a double major in Psychology and Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a Professor in the Ingram School of Nursing and the Department of Oncology at McGill University, where she serves as the Program Director for psychosocial oncology and oncology nursing. Carmen is also Co-Director (academic) at the Segal Cancer Centre and a Senior Scientist at the Center for Nursing Research at the Lady Davis Institute. Her research focuses on supporting individuals affected by cancer through connected health technologies. Carmen has received numerous peer-reviewed grants and awards and has published more than 120 scientific papers. Her current research investigates the effects of innovative e-health and m-health interventions on health-related outcomes and quality of life for individuals diagnosed with various types of cancer.
