Biography

Professor Caroline Hunt has over 20 years of experience in the field of anxiety disorders and has authored a leading international reference book on the treatment of adult anxiety disorders. Her research interests focus on the epidemiology and comorbidity of adult anxiety disorders, including barriers to help-seeking and treatment patterns in diverse populations. In addition, she has developed reliable measures for assessing bullying behaviors and has conducted numerous studies on the psycho-social development of young children. Professor Hunt's work aligns with the Faculty of Science Research Strengths, and she is a Registered Psychologist in Clinical Psychology and a Fellow of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.
