Caroline Paul received her PhD degree cum laude from the University of Oviedo in the group of Prof. V. Gotor-Fernández. Following her doctoral work, she undertook postdoctoral research with an EU Marie Curie fellowship at TU Delft, alongside securing an NWO VENI grant at Wageningen University. Her research interests primarily focus on biocatalysis and biomimetic cofactors. Caroline Paul was recognized as a Chemistry Europe Fellow for 2022/23 and is set to receive the KNCV Gold Medal in chemistry in 2024.
