Biography

Carolyn Blake is a public health researcher and programme advisor, with a significant focus on sexual and reproductive health, participatory approaches, and systems thinking. Her professional experience includes roles at the Swiss Tropical Public Health Institute and various international agencies, enhancing her insight into health inequalities and social justice. Her current research projects involve collaboration with multiple academic partners and focus on gender-based violence and health policy involving young people in Scotland. She has received several awards, including the Early Career Scientist Award from the UK Society of Behavioural Medicine.
