Biography

Carryl Navalta is a Clinical Associate Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, specializing in Psychiatry and General Psychiatry. She completed her Ph.D. at the State University of New York at Binghamton and has a strong background in mental health counseling, behavioral medicine, and research on behavioral health disorders in childhood and adolescence. Navalta employs a scientist-practitioner framework in her clinical practice, utilizing methods such as behavior therapy and cognitive behavior therapy to provide science-based interventions. Her overarching mission is to improve the lives of children and adolescents struggling with behavioral health issues.
