Biography

Cary Frydman is an economist specializing in behavioral finance and experimental economics. His research is interdisciplinary, drawing principles from psychology and neuroscience to answer questions in finance and economics. He is a recipient of the NSF CAREER award and currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Finance and the Journal of Financial Economics. He has previously served on the editorial boards of the Review of Financial Studies and the Review of Finance. His work has been published in leading finance and economics journals and has earned multiple awards for his research and teaching within the core curriculum at Marshall. Currently, he teaches courses on Behavioral Finance at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
