Dr. Cary Ward

Biography

Cary Cecile Ward is a Professor of Medicine at Duke University. He completed his medical education with an M.D. from the University of Virginia in 1999. Dr. Ward undertook his residency in Medicine at the University of Texas, Dallas, from 1999 to 2002, and subsequently held a fellowship in Cardiology at Duke University from 2002 to 2007. His research interests are centered around cardiology and its applications in clinical settings, with significant contributions to the Duke Clinical Research Institute. Dr. Ward has previously served as an Associate Professor of Medicine and has been actively involved in projects aimed at reducing maternal mortality. He is recognized for his achievements in medical education and practice, notably through participation in faculty award ceremonies at Duke University School of Medicine.
