Professor Ledman joined the Department of Health and Kinesiology as a Clinical Assistant Professor in July 2016. She teaches courses primarily in the clinical exercise physiology concentration. As chair faculty advisor for the Exercise Medicine Campus, she dedicates significant efforts to promoting physical activity and health culture on Purdue’s campus. Prior to arriving at Purdue University, Mrs. Ledman worked in a clinical setting as an exercise physiologist, rehabilitating and educating patients with chronic conditions, specializing in cardiovascular disease. She also served as an adjunct faculty member at Ivy Tech for three years teaching anatomy and physiology fitness classes. Professor Ledman is a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) and a Certified Health Wellness Coach (CHWC) and is an active member of several professional societies including the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the Clinical Exercise Physiologist Association (CEPA).
