Catherine joined the Gerard V. La Forest Law Library in 2008 as a Reference/Instruction Librarian, later becoming the Head Law Librarian in 2015. Prior to joining UNB, she worked as a Reference Librarian at the Paul Martin Law Library at the University of Windsor and practiced law in Manitoba for several years before transitioning into librarianship. In July 2020, Catherine was appointed Acting Associate Dean. She has taught legal research components in the Legal Research Advocacy course and has offered the Advanced Legal Research Writing course. Catherine is a co-author of the 'Practical Guide to Canadian Legal Research,' which is widely used by legal research instructors and students across Canada, and has also contributed to a legal dictionary addressing librarian burnout. She actively participates in the Canadian Association of Law Libraries.
