Dr. Catherine Cummings

Biography

Catherine Cummings is a Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Brown University, practicing at Miriam Rhode Island Hospitals. She has a background in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Washington and received her MD from Wake Forest University Medical School. Dr. Cummings completed her residency at SUNY Stony Brook, serving as Chief Resident. She has been elected President of the Rhode Island Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians and is a Treasurer of the Rhode Island Medical Society. Additionally, she is the Vice Chair of the Clinical Faculty Advisory Committee at Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Her professional interests include Physician Leadership, Practice Management, and State Health Care Policy.
