Catherine Hands obtained her PhD in Educational Administration from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. She has a career background as an elementary teacher in a Montessori school system. Following her doctorate, she became an educational researcher and consultant for various school boards in Ontario, including the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario and the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Parent Engagement Office.
