Catherine Hecht is a political scientist specializing in international organizations, democratic governance, and sustainable development. Her research focuses on the evolution of international norms and discourses, multilateral diplomacy, and the workings of the United Nations (UN) system and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
