Catherine Meyer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She obtained her Ph.D. in Medical Physics from UCLA in 2022, where her research focused on evaluating new tracers and dosimetry calculations for radionuclide therapies using preclinical models and patient data. Prior to this, she completed her graduate studies in Physics at Carleton College. Following her doctoral work, she joined the imaging physics residency program at Oregon Health & Science University to further train in imaging modalities. Her research interests lie at the intersection of nuclear medicine and medical physics, particularly in areas such as image quantification and dosimetry for nuclear medicine procedures, as well as predicting and monitoring responses to radiopharmaceutical therapies. Clinically, she is dedicated to the integration of radiation dosimetry to develop personalized treatment plans for patients, thereby advancing the quality of clinical care.
