Biography

Catherine completed her PhD in Philosophy at the University of Glasgow in 2017. She previously worked at the University of Hull before moving to Tilburg University in August 2018. Catherine's research interests focus on ethics and metaphysics, particularly concerning the nature, value, talent, ability, skill, implications for well-being, morality, and equality. She actively researches aesthetics, phenomenology, and the philosophy of music, currently exploring Merleau-Ponty's phenomenological account of music and silence.
