Biography

Catherine Shu is a board-certified medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of thoracic cancers, particularly lung cancer. As an Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, she completed her undergraduate degree at Princeton University and her M.D. at Columbia University. Additionally, she manages a clinical trial portfolio in thoracic oncology, with significant research efforts aimed at patients with targetable mutations such as EGFR. Dr. Shu prides herself on providing individualized and compassionate care, recognizing the unique beliefs and needs of each patient and their family.
