Biography

Cecilie Lærke Glindtvad Tarpø is a PhD student at Aarhus University, specializing in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 (CIN2). Her research focuses on investigating methylation patterns as biomarkers for disease progression and characterizing the tumor microenvironment in patients with CIN2 lesions. With a medical degree from Aarhus University obtained in 2018, she has experience in gynecology, fertility, and oncology. Tarpø is an elected member of the Steering Committee of the Translational Cancer Network at Aarhus University, representing PhD students. She commenced her PhD studies in December 2024 under the supervision of Professor Anne Hammer, with projects affiliated with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Regionshospitalet Gødstrup and the University Clinic HPV-related Gynecological Diseases at Aarhus University Hospital.
