Dr. Cédric Lesage

Biography

Cédric Lesage currently serves as Associate Dean Research & Impact at the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He holds the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Chair in Accountancy. His career encompasses key leadership roles including President of the Association Francophone de Comptabilité (AFC) and Vice President of the International Association for Accounting Education & Research (IAAER). Dr. Lesage has directed the doctoral program at the John Molson School of Business and the CEFAG Doctoral Program of Excellence in France. He began his professional journey at Ernst & Young in Paris and earned his PhD from the University of Rennes 1. His academic path evolved to include positions at IAE Rennes and IAE Paris at the University Paris La Sorbonne, along with a decade-long tenure as an Associate Professor at HEC Paris. He has shared his expertise as a guest speaker at universities in Europe and North America, and held visiting professorships at Concordia University and New York University-Shanghai.
