Biography

Cédric Wasser is a research associate at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Basel, where he is a member of the Microeconomic Theory group. His research focuses on applied microeconomic theory, including market mechanism design, information design, and contest theory. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Basel in 2010. Prior to his current position, he was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Bonn from 2013 to 2019, an interim professor at the University of Mannheim in 2018, and a (post-)doctoral researcher at Humboldt University of Berlin from 2009 to 2012.
