Biography

Celeste M. Abraham is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontics and the Stomatology Center at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry, Washington, DC. She furthered her education with a Master of Science in Oral Pathology and Diagnosis from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Abraham is actively involved in predoctoral periodontics clinics and the Stomatology Clinic as an instructor. Additionally, she serves as the course director for the graduate periodontal histopathology course and dental hygiene pharmacology at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. Her prior roles include serving as a clinical research coordinator in the Department of Periodontics and as an adjunct professor and course director at Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas. As part of her professional interests, she focuses on the oral manifestations of systemic diseases and the integration of medicine and dentistry.
