Biography

Chaitanya Kaul is a Lecturer at the University of Glasgow in the School of Computing Science, where he is also a member of the Inference, Dynamics Interaction Group (IDI) and an affiliate of the Extreme Light Group in the School of Physics and Astronomy. His research focuses on the intersection of Machine Learning and its applications in Signal Processing, Multimodal Sensor Networks, Computational Interaction, and Medical Image Analysis. Previously, he held positions as a Research Associate and Research Fellow within the IDI group led by Professor Roderick Murray-Smith. Dr. Kaul obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the University of York between 2016 and 2019, following a Master’s degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from Coventry University (2015-2016) and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Communication Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (2010-2014). His work emphasizes the practical application of Machine Learning methodologies to enhance various technical disciplines.
